Gather Round for Fantastic Food: Love Local

It takes a lot of hard work to get a small business off the ground—trust me, I know better than anyone!

Supporting local businesses around town is one of my favorite ways to give back to our community. With so many unique spots to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it’s a wonder we ever cook at home.

Recently I had a breakfast meeting at one of these very spots: Gather, in Canton. I hadn’t been before, since we’re relatively new to the area, but my experience there was so wonderful that I simply had to spread the word about this place.

A Cozy, Cool Joint for Coffee & Cake

Gather makes a great first impression from the moment you walk inside. It’s a stylish, cozy spot, with displays of delicious-looking pastries and a huge menu to pick from.

From brunch appetizers to eggs benedict, there’s something for everyone on their menu—and that’s before you even look at drinks. The coffee alone calls for a trip to Gather, in my opinion.

I got my old standby of scrambled eggs, which were delicious, but they had me wishing I was more adventurous in my menu picks. Next time for sure! With so many choices, I’m certain it’ll be another great experience.

A Restaurant for Regulars

Gather has been open since 2017 and run by Shelton, who wished to open a restaurant on the South Shore where loved ones could gather (get it?) for a good meal, and where strangers could become friends.

They’re a scratch kitchen, which means they use all fresh foods to create their delicious menu offerings and can accommodate allergies with ease and professionalism.

Gather also offers catering options, and their social media is almost as stylish as the restaurant itself!

I highly recommend this great restaurant for all your brunch date needs. Whether you’re meeting friends for a catch-up or looking to host a meeting for coworkers, or even just for a quick coffee break, Gather’s got you covered with a host of choices for food and drinks.
